Oh, one other thing; I m glad your allergies have abtead (I hope the rest of your family has adjusted to the new dog also), but do I infer that she is now TOO devoted? You have to stand by her bowl while she eats or she will follow you rather than feed herself? Loyalty is wonderful, but too much of anything is not necessarily a good thing especially if you have to sidle out the door in the morning to go to work, with the dog trying to squeeze out with you, and giving you guilt-inducing looks as you go. Is she a rescue dog? Was she in an insecure situation before you got her? Poor thing.
